Lock 'n Load: Single Player
Idle Game
Lock and Load is the first entry to the Mouse Haunt gaming universe. Before your Mouse Heroes are ready to storm the castle during Castle Heist they will gather some of the supplies and prepare for the incoming heist. In the Lock and Load game mode, your Mouse Hero team will explore a level of the castle, destroy chests and collect the MHT kept inside. Heroes also get tired so make sure you keep your team's stamina level well rested so they can collect as many tokens as possible.
The Lock and Load alpha successfully launched on March 2022 will be the only version with no monetary benefits, as its used for testing and community engagement and feedback. The beta game version is coming out on April 2022 and it's the first game version with full-on play-to-earn capabilities. Regarding the withdraw of funds:
  • You can withdraw any $MHT farmed after a 24h period has passed. Fees apply.
  • The withdraw fee progressively lowers for each day that passes. This means that the longer you hold the tokens in your game account, the less fees you’ll pay upon withdrawing.
  • The percentage of fee reduction is as follows: 45.5% initial fee (day 1) | 2,275% fee drop per day | 0% after 20 days (day 21)
  • Burn percentage: This is a fixed fee percentage which won't reach zero at any time. This amount will be burned for token scarcity, which means that those tokens won't exist anymore in the Mouse Haunt universe, reducing from the total 100m supply. Our community of MHT holders are currently voting on the final number for the burn percentage!
  • The withdraw system is an important deflationary measure and a market standard. We are proud to have developed this feature in-house and we’re glad to be able to launch it together with the P2E.

Gameplay

In order to play Lock and Load, each player gets to build their squads using their purchased NFTs. Each squad has a maximum number of 3 heroes, but you can also play the game by owning at least 1 Mouse Hero. Your Mouse Heroes will automatically roam around the castle and destroy the spawning chests they encounter throughout the level. They will search and destroy the chests until their stamina runs out. A tired mouse is a lazy mouse so make sure to send them back to the Campfire whenever their stamina runs out so they can comfortably recharge their energy more efficiently. If you forget a tired mouse sleeping on the floor of the castle they will also get some rest, only not as efficiently as the ones in the campfire.
The stamina of the Mouse Heroes depends on their rarity where higher rarities have longer stamina bar making them really great at getting goods from the haunted castle. Optimize your team with higher rarity NFTs to increase your MHT farming.

Squads

For Lock and Load mode, every player will have 2 standard squads for farming, so you can have up to 6 Mouse Heroes farming at the same time while the others rest in the campfire.
You can unlock one extra squad by holding $MHT in your wallet and participating in the Mouse Holder Membership program (https://mousehaunt.medium.com/maximize-your-mouse-haunt-experience-by-holding-mht-60e277d2b20d ). This extra squad increases the number of mouse heroes farming at the same time from 6 to 9. Note that this benefit is tier based, meaning that the amount of $MHT in your wallet directly affects which rarity of mouse heroes can be added on the bonus squad. For example, by holding the minimum amount of MHT (Tier E), you'll be able to add only Common mice on the extra squad. Holding larger quantities of MHT allows the use of higher rarities such as Rare, Epic and Legendary.
